Game Development

Piston (0:09 - 0:15)

Space-themed racing game with multiple difficulties, power-ups, and other features. My contributions to this project include: Project management, all 3D assets, a majority of game design (Level layout, game mechanic concepts, and user interface), and some of the programming (creating some of the code and adjusting some of the code from my colleagues). I also tested the various difficulties to ensure the player has a fair experience in the game.

First World Problems (0:16 - 0:19)

2D arcade game based on poking fun at the idea of "first world problems". With the exception of some sprite assets and peer critiques, the development of this game was handled on my own.

Goblincognito

A stealth platformer game where the player must traverse the city and escape without getting caught by its residents. My contributions to this game include: Project management, overall design (see design section), 3D modeling most assets (except for the player and enemies), setting up the scenes (lighting, UI, arrangement of elements), as well as playtesting the levels to make sure they were the appropriate level of challenge for the player.

RoboGuard

A mobile game that I developed utilizing accelerometer hardware on decices. Players will tilt their device to move the guard and tap on the touchscreen to shoot a laser. Includes 3 difficulties and 3 themes of player choice, and difficulty gradually increases as the player survives to ensure that the game does not go on forever.
